Job Description You will have the following responsibilities: <ul><li>Performing mechanical assemblies, installations, modifications and structural repairs;</li><li>Collaborating in the system integration of satellites, satellite subsystems and components in the 'Mechanical Integration' work area;</li><li>Assembling and integrating mechanical components, subsystems and mechanisms;</li><li>Precision machining and preparation of components and surfaces;</li><li>Performing professional bonding work using specified adhesives;</li><li>Creation and maintenance of integration and test protocols;</li><li>Performance of first-level quality checks;</li><li>Support in the preparation of integration and test procedures and the provision of the necessary drawing documents;</li><li>Collaboration in the preparation and performance of qualification and acceptance tests in the field of mechanical and thermal verification of satellites and satellite subsystems;</li><li>Participation in test campaigns.</li></ul>Qualifications As part of the AIT team you will have the following responsibilities: <ul><li>Vocational training in Mechanical Engineering;</li><li>Experience of 3 years in Industrial mechanics;</li><li>At least 3 years' experience in Design engineering;</li><li>Experience in aerospace engineering;</li><li>Strong technical understanding and experience on Development Projects;</li><li>Knowledge of the preparation and implementation of mechanical and thermal environmental tests;</li><li>Basic knowledge of plastics processing and adhesive technology;</li><li>Ability to work in a team, as well as an independent and structured way of working;</li><li>Strong communication skills;</li><li>Detailed functions knowledge of MS Office;</li><li>Fluent English and proficient level of German.</li></ul>Additional Information This job is located in Immenstaad.
