Missile Architecture - Summer Placement 2025 Salary: £20,000 (pro rata) Location: Stevenage Working pattern: Our roles will typically allow a blend of on-site and at-home working to suit the needs of the role and the individual. To gain maximum benefit from the scheme, candidates should expect to be on-site 2 or 3 days a week. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. They draw upon a range of inputs from around the company to drive a coherent top-level design for our missiles. Missile Architecture Function within MBDA consists of <ul><li>Electrical Architecture</li><li>Test and Testability Architecture</li><li>Safety and Reliability</li><li>Mechanical Architecture</li></ul>During the programme, you will be working on allocated projects or improvement initiative, which could be at any stage of its lifecycle! Although you may focus your time on one of the engineering disciplines listed, you will get the opportunity to gain awareness and knowledge on all four areas of Missile Architecture, providing you with a unique breadth in knowledge in a short period. An exciting new position has opened up within Marshall. We are currently seeking an additional Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) for our airport in Cambridge. Air traffic controllers at Cambridge provide Tower, Radar and Approach services for a variety of military and civilian aircraft, within a small and highly motivated team with plenty of opportunities to progress your career. Responsibilities: As an ATCO you will provide a safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of ATC services to all aircraft operating under Instrument &amp; Visual flights rules when arriving, departing, or operating in the vicinity of Cambridge City Airport, de-conflict aircraft from vehicles and other obstructions on the ground while operating at all times within the limitations of their ATC license. You will ensure that all services are provided in conformance with CAA Regulatory Standards and local Cambridge City Airport instructions including CAP 493 (MATS Part 1), MATS Part 2, the Cambridge City Airport Safety Management System, and all other documentation to assure the initial and on-going safety of ATC Operations.
