The core responsibility of this role is managing a portfolio of small to medium sized airline partners, securing the best airline content available for Perk in tandem with evaluating and negotiating commercial agreements with airline suppliers. The ideal candidate must have experience with leading commercial negotiations, gathering data analysis, handling account management responsibilities, and have knowledge about airline distribution channels. Additionally, a top candidate possesses the strategic acumen and excellent analytical skills to present recommendations to Perk executives. Successful candidates will have the autonomy to manage and expand the portfolio of airline suppliers and will have a direct impact on Perk's revenue streams and price competitiveness. What will you be doing? <ul><li>Oversee and grow commercial relationships and negotiations with airline partners on behalf of Perk.</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers and Perk's Product team to optimize for the best content, pricing, and connectivity from airline partners.</li><li>Identify and direct the execution of additional revenue opportunities across the airline supplier ecosystem.</li><li>Champion commercial oversight over the following: <ul><li>Incentive strategy</li><li>Portfolio performance</li><li>Revenue Forecasting</li><li>Marketing Opportunities</li><li>Price Competitiveness</li></ul></li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally and with relevant departments (Product Operations, Product, Customer Management, Finance, Marketing, and Business Development) to align on strategic initiatives, generate commitment and optimize results.</li><li>Identify key content gaps and functionality with airline suppliers to improve coverage.</li><li>Conduct profitability analysis.</li><li>Manage contract renewals and renegotiate conditions.</li><li>Represent Perk at industry events and continue to build brand and value recognition in the industry.</li></ul>What will you need to succeed? <ul><li>Tenured experience working in the travel industry; ideally experience working with or for airlines, as well as knowledge of supplier partnership management practices.</li><li>Knowledgeable in various airline content distribution strategies.</li><li>Deep understanding of legacy (Edifact) and modern retailing (NDC) capabilities.</li><li>Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills as well as a consultative approach.</li><li>Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.</li><li>Proficient in data analysis tools and software such as Excel.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish desirable.
