In the role of Area Aviation Market Sector Leader, we'll count on you to: <ul><li>Primary Responsibilities: Primary duties of the Aviation Market Sector Lead include responsibility for the development of the aviation practice in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Puerto Rico and interact and support our national aviation practice. <ul><li>Overall responsibilities include program and staff development, retention, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing.</li><li>Function in a Senior Project Manager capacity for aviation projects, in addition to assuming business class management responsibilities.</li><li>Will ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through an internal project management system. </li><li>Remains directly involved with aviation clients in marketing, project production and related issues.</li><li>Will be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews.</li><li>Experience in the management and development of multi-discipline teams.</li><li>Must impart a clear understanding, implementation, monitoring and support of company policy.</li><li>Interview, select, and assist in the hiring and professional development of Project Engineers and technical personnel.</li><li>Develop strong production capabilities with Project Managers and leadership teams in regional offices.</li><li>Should possess strong communication and listening skills, including sound leadership and organizational skills. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Established relationships with Aviation clients in Florida</li><li>Experience delivering Airfield Design projects/programs in Florida</li><li>Registered professional Engineer in Florida</li></ul></li></ul>*LI-MR1 Qualifications Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, planning or a related field</li><li>A minimum of 10 years of industry experience</li><li>Experienced in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services</li><li>Experienced in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits</li><li>Experienced in overall staff development to include recruiting, career path and professional growth</li><li>Experienced with industry associations and maintains a visible profile in the market sector</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with Regional Market Sector Directors, Market Sector Directors, Business Class Directors, Regional Business Group Directors, Area Business Group Managers, Area Marketing Managers and Area Managers</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to HDR values.
