Job Profile Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members' fleet, which comprises over 300 light, super mid-size, long-range and ultra-long-range aircraft. Vista Aircraft Maintenance are now looking for apprentices to join the team in September 2025. Through a blend of classroom and workshop learning at Farnborough College of Technology in combination with hands-on experience on our extensive fleet of aircraft, the apprenticeship is an opportunity to start a career in Aircraft Engineering with the market leader in Business Aviation. Your Responsibilities <ul><li>To attend college regularly, completing all college work to the best of ability and making submissions within designated deadlines (no holidays to be taken during college term time).</li></ul><ul><li>To pass all required exams within the timeframe designated by the training provider.</li></ul><ul><li>To attend the workplace during college holidays or if college is closed for any reason.</li></ul><ul><li>To observe and shadow experienced Engineers and Mechanics to learn the skills, processes and techniques required in order to carry out the role.</li></ul><ul><li>To participate in all training as required by VAMF.</li></ul><ul><li>To behave responsibly at all times, complying with the Vista code of conduct and acting as an ambassador for Vista Aircraft Maintenance Farnborough.</li></ul><ul><li>To act in a safe manner at all times giving consideration to local compliance and safety requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>To undertake any reasonable activities as requested by Hangar management in line with the role.</li></ul>Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience <ul><li>Passion for Aviation</li><li>Good at undertaking practical tasks. </li><li>Five GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including Maths, English and one Science/Technical subject.</li><li>Good interpersonal/communication skills.</li><li>PC literate, familiar with Microsoft Office.</li><li>Able to demonstrate solid organisation and time management skills.</li><li>Must be able to undertake physical elements of the role.</li></ul>

Aeronautical Engineering Apprentice

Reporting to the Aeronautical Director, the Aeronautical Development Analyst Intern will work on a large array of key missions for VINCI Airports' global development. The main task will be focused on the 4 missions of the Aeronautical Development team : M&amp;A process - Prepare and deliver precise market analysis using various data sources available for cargo and passenger flows - Build long term forecast models for air traffic demand at an airport/city/country level Airport support - Work on generic and specific business cases for all airports across the Group's network - Provide technical support and expertise for one off analysis Big Data analysis - Participate in the group's transition to a data driven environment - Identify and understand opportunities to develop new analysis axis - Design and test new reporting methods and KPIs in partnership with external experts Regulatory and Competitive watch - Monitor evolutions affecting air travel around the world with a special focus on the Group's platforms - Identify new behaviors and development opportunities - Perform global studies, benchmarks, and analysis to help drive the Group's reflections This position is intended for students interested in traffic analysis and the airport/air world in particular. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on international projects and to have an overview of the sector. Profile - Student in Master degree in Engineering, Economics or Air Transportation.
