We are seeking a dynamic Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Chubb's Leadenhall Street offices in London. This role is an integral part of the Actuarial Function for Chubb Global Markets (CGM), focusing on supporting our Aviation and Property Underwriters.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with underwriters, providing critical support in underwriting decisions and strategy development. You will report to the Aviation and Property Senior Pricing Actuary, receiving guidance on technical matters and model interpretation, while underwriters will direct day-to-day priorities.

- Collaborate with underwriters to enhance portfolio management and risk selection through data analysis and presentation.
- Set loss ratios for business planning, ensuring strategic alignment.
- Conduct case pricing for risks with significant historical claims activity.
- Develop and maintain innovative dashboards and benchmarking models to support underwriting.
- Gather and prepare data for reinsurance submissions.
- Lead process improvements through automation and efficiency enhancements.
- Monitor rate changes for renewed business to optimize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Actuarial background or part-qualified actuary with a passion for underwriting support.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with programming or querying languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for data collection, manipulation, and analysis.
- Detail-oriented with excellent report design and sensibility checks.
