The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Ansty is one of our key sites in the EMEA region for the Parker Aerospace Group and is a key base for the Program Manager. In this role, the Program Manager manages and is accountable for the contract performance for divisional programs; serving as the customer advocate and ensuring effective program management processes, schedule, cost, resources, risk, project change management, and commitments to customers are met.
In this role you will have experience of dealing with multiple customer accounts/programs and have proven experience in developing and managing customers ideally in an aerospace or operations environment. In addition you will hold a degree in engineering or business and either have or be able to acquire a PMP certificate.

Your responsibilities:
- Define and baseline the program: Develop the program charter and integrated plans/schedules; validate requirements alignment, cost/pricing basis, resource needs, and risks to protect Parker and meet customer needs.
- Lead end-to-end execution across the lifecycle: Direct all phases of mature and new product development programs, ensuring cross-functional alignment from planning through delivery.
- Manage performance and corrective actions: Integrate data and track schedule, financial, quality, and technical performance; resolve critical issues and drive corrective action plans to improve results.
- Own governance, resourcing, and team leadership: Set priorities, approve task plans/estimates, coordinate staffing/training, and provide performance feedback (including in matrix teams).
- Maintain customer and stakeholder alignment: Serve as primary customer point of contact; support contract/scope negotiations; lead program reviews, communicate actions/status, and mentor/advise leadership and teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or related field.
- PMP certification required (typically within 6 months).
- Relevant experience and experience ideally in leading multiple complex projects and directly leading teams.
- In-depth proficiency in program management processes, methodology, and program architecture.
- Strong business acumen and ability to lead cross-functional, matrixed teams across related projects.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices/marketplace plus aerospace commercial or military contracting, procurement, and cost/financial labor systems and production processes.
- Proficient with business and specialised project management/financial tools; able to interpret complex policies/contracts/financials and communicate/negotiate effectively with customers, regulators, management, and suppliers.
