Job title: Aerospace Electromechanical Level 6 Apprentice
Role Type: Apprentice - full time
Location & Hours: Yeovil, 37 hours a week
As an Aerospace Electromechanical Level 6 Apprentice at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you work primarily within a specific Engineering discipline such as Design, Test, Research and Development, Project or Systems Engineering and focus on all aspects related to the full Engineering lifecycle of systems and products.
Degree level Aerospace Engineer apprenticeship standard includes:
Level: 6 (integrated degree) BEng Electromechanical engineering; BSc Aerospace engineering or other engineering degree that fully aligns to the KSBs on the apprenticeship
Level: 4 EAL Diploma in engineering and advanced manufacturing (development competence)
This role is part of our Early Careers Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.
This apprenticeship is set up for 5 years, starting from 4th August 2025.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our highly skilled team:
• You will join our dynamic Apprenticeship Scheme within Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil.
• You will work alongside qualified and experienced Honeywell Engineers to develop your engineering skills whilst undertaking part time academic studies.
• You will modify designs and solutions to satisfy customers requirements.
• You will focus on all aspects related to the full Engineering lifecycle of systems and products. You will be expected to design, develop, specify, analyse, test, validate and modify designs & solutions to satisfy customers requirements and in-service operations
Key skills and qualifications
• GCSE or equivalent Double Science and mathematics, minimum grade C/4 essential
• A Level or the equivalent in 2 STEM related subjects minimum grade C/4 essential
