Overview Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM's Line-side predominantly visual inspection of Forgings requiring some manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment. Job Description: <ul><li>Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support the visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings' efforts at their facility.</li><li>Daily line-side inspection of Forgings. The resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.</li><li>Further orientation will be performed onsite.</li></ul>Duration: <ul><li>3 to 6 months</li></ul>Frequency: <ul><li>38.5hrs Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.</li></ul>Skill Requirements: <ul><li>At least 3 years' experience using dimensional inspection equipment</li><li>Hands on experience with GD&amp;T per ANSI Y 14.5</li><li>Must be able to interpret blueprints and drawings</li><li>Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes</li><li>Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports</li><li>Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls-Royce and some Defence Platforms.</li><li>Must be UK Citizen</li></ul>
