Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the IMS conforms to UK IMS Policy, objectives, KPIs, and relevant international standards and regulations.
- Conducting internal audits in line with the approved audit schedule, ensuring processes reflect real-world practice.
- Identifying and raising non-conformances, and supporting corrective and preventative action plans.
- Leading or participating in audit teams, maintaining objectivity and impartiality throughout.
- Supporting operational teams by providing clear guidance and interpretation of IMS requirements.
- Planning, performing, reporting, and following up on audits with precision and integrity.
You're a detail-oriented professional who thrives on precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You take pride in doing things the right way and helping others do the same.
We're looking for someone with:
- Internal Auditor qualification to ISO 9001 / AS9100 standard (minimum).
- Working knowledge of additional standards and regulations (e.g. AQAP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, AS9100, AS9102, Part 21G, Part 145, ISO 14001, 22301, 27001, 45001).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and CAPA experience.
- Confident use of MS Office, ERP systems, and quality management tools such as Q-Pulse or Net-Inspect.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong influencing, listening, and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to balance detail with wider business impact.
- Flexibility to work beyond core hours when needed
