What You'll Do

We're seeking a Business Development Manager to support our North American operations, with a focus on the aerospace sector. The role, based in Schenectady, NY or remote, and is centered on building a pipeline of qualified opportunities-projects that are actionable, commercially viable, and strategically aligned-and ensuring their progression through to completion.

The position involves promoting advanced materials used in both structural and non-structural composite applications. These include fire protection, EMI shielding, fracture toughness, surface finish improvements and carriers for resins and adhesives.

Primary sales efforts are directed toward Tier 2 and Tier 3 aerospace suppliers, while also developing strategic relationships with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs to support long-term growth and integration into future programs.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience working with FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Polymer) materials, especially in design or production.
  • Knowledge of structural or semi-structural FRP applications.
  • Familiarity with aerospace, automotive, or advanced air mobility (AAM) supply chains.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, mainly within North America and Europe (about 5 days/month).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft 365 and CRM tools.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
