About the role
PwC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead the origination and delivery of complex transformation programmes within the UK Aerospace and Defence sector. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth and operational excellence across engineering, industrial, and capital-intensive projects.
You will be responsible for building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, shaping and delivering transformation programmes, and leading multidisciplinary teams to solve some of the sector's most complex challenges. You will play a key role in growing PwC's pipeline and team in the north west.

About the role
PwC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead the origination and delivery of complex transformation programmes within the UK Aerospace and Defence sector. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth and operational excellence across engineering, industrial, and capital-intensive projects.
You will be responsible for building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, shaping and delivering transformation programmes, and leading multidisciplinary teams to solve some of the sector's most complex challenges. You will play a key role in growing PwC's pipeline and team in the north west.
What your days will look like:
- Originate and lead large-scale transformation programmes across Aerospace and Defence clients.
- Develop and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on strategic and operational matters.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes in areas such as procurement, supply chain, project controls, manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
- Drive business development initiatives, including proposal development, client pitches, and thought leadership.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain active security clearance.
- Collaborate with PwC's wider network to bring innovative solutions and capabilities to clients.
- - Proven track record of delivering complex transformation programmes in engineering, industrial, or capital project environments.
- Deep expertise in one of the following domains, with a strong understanding of the others:
- Procurement
- Supply Chain
- Project Controls
- Manufacturing
- Engineering
- Operations
- IT / digital transformation experience
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in business development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within or alongside UK Defence organisations or major Aerospace OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers.
- Active UK security clearance (or able to obtain) (SC minimum; DV preferred).
