What you will be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity for an integrated Master Scheduler to join our team in Derby.
To develop, maintain and manage an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for Aerospace Procurement by providing clear line of sight on the Project's schedule and planning status and performance to deliver the business requirements using a structured governance process. In addition, develop a high level of scheduling capability within the planning community of the Project.

Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and manage the development of high-quality schedules and integrate these into a Master Schedule to deliver the Project business plan utilising analysis and scenarios to optimise the schedule outcomes.
- Work with Project Management practitioners to develop high quality schedules that deliver all elements of the WBS utilising a broad range of planning and scheduling techniques.
- Facilitate the planning population to identify integration points across the schedule and incorporating risk and treatment plans.
- Communicating the IMS status and performance to a wide range of stakeholders and supporting the resolution of scheduling conflicts that threaten the Project deliverables.
- Lead the schedule and cost integration activities to provide status and performance reporting to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Execution of the Project's planning cycle and governance around change control ensuring compliance across the planning community to maintain the baseline plan and a clear line of sight.
- generating status and performance reports that drive actions to address schedule variances and noncompliance to agreed planning cycles.
- Ensuring that the planning population within the Project is suitably enabled to support the planning and governance cycles and processes.
- Maintain the standards for process, skills, data and toolsets within the Project's planning areas and lead activities that improve them.
- Be the recognised Subject Matter Expert (SME) for scheduling process, skills, data and toolset within the Project.
- Training, coaching and facilitation of plan creators to establish and maintain high quality plans and their execution of these in accordance with the Project requirements.

- Experience of working as the leader or as part of an Integrated Product Team environment, ideally gained within the Engineering/ Manufacturing sector and within a matrix organisation.
- Experience of developing schedules and Integrated Master Schedules within a range of planning tools
- Proficient in critical path construction, scheduling, and analysis
- Experience in all stages of a project lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of these stages.
- Excellent communications and networking skills and a wide organisational awareness to deliver clear messages at all levels of the organisation they have worked in.
- Proven people and stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation
