Project Manager (University, Aviation, State Government Projects)

RPS has an established client side project management consulting business in Australia Asia Pacific, with over 550 project management staff. The RPS Project Management team in Perth currently consists of over 50 staff and is continuing to grow. We have a strong workbook for 2026 and beyond, with key long term projects we are delivering.

RPS is currently undertaking some exciting large scale infrastructure and commercial construction projects with our University, Aviation and State Government clients. To support this, RPS is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager to join our Perth team.

While the role is office-based, regular short distance travel for client meetings and site-based activities is required.

About you

You will hold a tertiary qualification in project management, architecture, engineering, construction management or similar; and have:
  • 5+ years project management experience
  • Demonstrated recent infrastructure/construction project experience with either client-side, contractor or designer.
  • A desire to work on major complex projects, be a team player, work within a large team, and provide guidance to more junior staff.
  • A strong understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts, contract administration and design management experience.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, communications and leadership skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
  • Australian citizenship and holding or successfully able to obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is preferred but not essential. Candidates must have a minimum of Permanent Residency to be considered for this role.
