As the Central Texas Aviation Lead, you will serve as our leader in this critical local market. This includes: <ul><li>Work cooperatively with other Area and National leaders and marketing staff on local marketing and production efforts and in developing and implementing a strategic plan for delivery and growth.</li><li>Partner with Area Market Sector Lead and Airfield Design Business Class Lead to determine skills that are needed on the team.</li><li>Assist in the selection, training, development, and management of technical personnel.</li><li>Serve as a key partner to Senior Project Managers and Senior Engineers.</li><li>Provide Client Management to select clients.</li><li>Support Transportation and Aviation Market Sectors in identifying and recruiting key hires.</li><li>Support our overall Airfield Design Business Class and Practice Groups in development and implementation of best practices</li><li>Perform other duties as needed</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in TX</li><li>Experience working with Austin Bergstrom and/or San Antonio International Airports</li><li>Experience coordinating with the FAA Southwest Regional Office personnel.</li><li>Previous work experience on airfield designs requiring Part 139 operating certifications.</li><li>Understands project scheduling and critical path method</li><li>Experience with design proposal development</li></ul>Qualifications Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li><li>A minimum of 10 years experience </li><li>Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role </li><li>Strong communication and listening skills </li><li>Ability to handle multiple assignments </li><li>Good leadership and organizational skills </li><li>An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must </li></ul>What We Believe HDR is our company.
