YOUR ROLE We are seeking an experienced and agile National Operations Coordinator - Aerospace to join our Air &amp; Ocean team - based from our Pinkenba QLD offices - supporting aerospace clients across the Pacific. In this high-impact role, you will manage international air and ocean freight operations and coordinate time-critical Aircraft on Ground (AOG) cases. The role operates in a fast-paced environment and includes participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster for urgent logistics recovery. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Specifically, you will: <ul><li>Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments across air and ocean freight</li><li>Process documentation including commercial invoices, AWBs, BOLs and customs declarations</li><li>Work with carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Ensure compliance with ABF, DAFF, RACA, IATA DG, WHO-GDP and client SOPs</li><li>Manage temperature-controlled, high-value, and AOG cargo movements</li><li>Respond to AOG logistics requests during rostered on-call periods, including expedited shipments</li><li>Maintain job-level financials, billing, and KPI performance in CargoWise</li><li>Contribute to internal audits and compliance reporting.</li></ul>WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate has strong international freight-forwarding experience, thrives under pressure, and has a customer-first mindset. You will also bring: <ul><li>Completion of Year 12; vocational or tertiary qualification in logistics or trade (desirable)</li><li>Solid experience in international freight forwarding operations (air and/or ocean)</li><li>Demonstrated success managing time-critical freight or AOG movements</li><li>CargoWise proficiency (job control, billing, milestone tracking)</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, clearance procedures, and global trade documentation</li><li>DG certification and RACA screener accreditation (desirable)</li><li>A willingness to work flexibly, including participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call roster.</li></ul>While rostered on standby, employees are required to remain contactable and available to work if required-including attending a worksite or performing duties remotely. Standby and callout allowances apply in accordance with CEVA policy or relevant industrial instruments, recognising the impact on personal time.
