Wat you'll do As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will: • Lead the physical and functional design and integration of a mechanical system within the aircraft, from concept development through to system certification • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop optimised, innovative solutions for the complex demands of hybrid powertrain systems. • Develop concept designs from clean paper to a working prototypes. Design and integration of engine mounts, thermal/fire enclosures, and supporting structures for propulsion components • Working on all aspects of integration design against requirements in a fast paced environment including Packaging, Cooling and Thermal management • Able to populate DFMEA, manage requirements, manage 2D and 3D drawing, apply good GD&amp;T techniques and use the company PLM system. • Design of composite and metallic structures enclosures would be included in some of the tasks.
