Multi-Engine Turbine (MET) B200 Pilot FT Permanent Newquay Our Special Missions division delivers specialist aviation services to the UK Government and industry customers. We deliver a next-generation Search and Rescue contract which operates 24/7/365. Working with a Sensor Operator, who manages the sensors and mission equipment, duties include delivering specialist surveillance tasks within the UK and internationally. The role includes operating our Special Missions surveillance B200 aircraft as a single-pilot captain, with all line training provided. Whilst the role will have a degree of predictability from the 4 on / 4 off roster, the applicant will also be required to fill in for short-notice sickness when required, within the bounds of the FTL system. Working a rota of day shifts (0700-1900), each crew will also have a Sensor Operator on board, who manages the sensors and mission equipment. To be considered for this role, successful applicants must have: <ul> <li>Current UK Class 1 medical</li> <li>Valid UK CPL (or ATPL) with ME/IR</li> <li>1500+ total flying hours (including 750 PIC, 100 IFR and 100 Night)</li> <li>At least 100 hours on King Air Series aircraft (or equivalent, at the discretion of the Director of Flight Operations)</li></ul>It is also desirable that the chosen candidate has the following experience: <ul> <li>MCC and AUPRT</li> <li>A current King Air 200 type rating is highly desirable, but not essential as training will be provided</li> <li>Relevant experience in a similar setting (military, police, coastguard)</li> <li>In addition, applicants must already have, or have the ability to obtain, UK Security Clearance and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.</li></ul>Please note, this job is immediately available, with training commencing ASAP.
