What You'll Do: <ul><li>Collaborate with the payload manager to support the procurement of space-grade communication equipment.</li><li>Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, cost, and schedule objectives.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance data, and support Make/Buy decisions with informed risk and opportunity analyses.</li><li>Manage the full lifecycle of repeater units - from supplier selection and specification development to design, integration, testing, and delivery - ensuring alignment with mission requirements.</li><li>Analyze test data, investigate anomalies, and lead resolution efforts to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.</li><li>Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners to ensure supply chain efficiency and reliability. </li><li>Collaborate with satellite operations engineers to monitor in-orbit performance and resolve on-orbit anomalies for seamless mission continuity.</li><li>Stay current on industry trends, simulation tools, and emerging repeater technologies to foster innovation and continuous system improvement.</li><li>Maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships while identifying opportunities to optimize unit performance, reduce cost, and enhance mission capabilities.</li><li>Establish best practices for procurement, testing, and operations, ensuring compliance with space industry standards.</li></ul>What it Takes: <ul><li>Hold a university honors degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field), with a Master's or PhD in a relevant specialization being highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrate proven experience in the procurement and management of payload/satellite equipment, encompassing specification, design, development, and testing.</li><li>Knowledge of the space industry, aerospace manufacturing.</li><li>A passion for innovation and space technology.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. </li><li>Exhibit the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.</li><li>Be willing and able to travel frequently for technical meetings and reviews.</li><li>Maintain an excellent command of English, both written and spoken. </li></ul>Where You'll Be: Issy-Les-Moulineaux, France, Paris The Eutelsat Group treats the protection of personal data submitted to it seriously.
