Stress Engineer - Aerospace

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Tech Services Avionics Engineer. Based in Madrid, the successful candidate will join a team of experienced engineers to ensure the continued airworthiness of our fleet of over 500 Boeing 737-800 and A320 aircraft. Reporting to the Avionics Manager and Deputy Director of Technical Services you will create and issue engineering orders, create technical reports in support of issues (e.g. Incidents; Significant Defects) and liaise with Boeing and equipment manufactures on resolution of technical issues. The Technical Services Avionics Engineer will work within a small dedicated team and provide support in the following areas: <ul> <li>Providing a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives;</li> <li>Providing troubleshooting support to Maintrol; Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance;</li> <li>Creation of design modifications in support of Ryanair's Part 21 DOA;</li> <li>Support of Reliability section in the identification and resolution of repetitive failures across the fleet;</li> <li>Generation and editing of applicable operator documents (MEL; Tech Notices; Procedures Notices);</li> <li>Provide support of aircraft lease returns relating to Avionics issues;</li> </ul>Requirements At least 3 years experience working in an airline in a Tech Services or in line maintenance with strong avionics input; <ul> <li>Aeronautical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree or B-2 license.</li> <li>Excellent technical knowledge primarily of the A320 aircraft and B737</li> <li>Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.</li> <li>Must have excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means.</li> <li>Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Software Programs [Word, Excel]</li> <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.</li> </ul>

Avionics Engineer - Technical Services

Special Missions Captain (Multi-Engine Turbine) FT Permanent (Days and Nights) Prestwick Our Special Missions division delivers specialist aviation services to the UK Government and industry customers. In late 2024, we began to deliver our next generation Search and Rescue contract which will operate 24/7/365 out of Prestwick, Humberside and Newquay. We are looking for a Prestwick-based Captain to join our growing team to help us deliver this new and exciting contract. The flying will be varied and challenging, this is not your average A to B aviation job. Your duties will include the delivery of specialist surveillance tasks within the UK and neighbouring States. This exciting and rewarding role will allow the right individual to progress within 2Excel. Captains will be flying the King Air 350 with a First Officer multi-pilot, day and night shifts. Each crew will also have a Sensor Operator on board, who manages the sensors and mission equipment. To be considered for this role, successful applicants must have: <ul> <li>Class 1 medical </li> <li>UK CPL (or ATPL) with IR</li> <li>1500 + total flying hours (Including 750 PIC, 100 IR and 100 Night)</li> <li>At least 100 hours on King Air Series aircraft (or equivalent, at the discretion of the Director of Flight Operations)</li></ul>It is also desirable that the chosen candidate has the following experience: <ul> <li>Relevant experience in a similar setting (military, police, coastguard)</li> <li>Proven experience in taking a lead pilot/managerial role in a forward operating base</li> <li>A current King Air 350 type rating is highly desirable, but not essential as training will be provided*</li></ul>In addition, applicants must already have, or have the ability to obtain, UK Security Clearance and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
