Your apprenticeship An apprenticeship offer entitled "Apprenticeship in Security Evaluations of future Machine Learning based avionics (M/F)" has just opened within Airbus Commercialon its Saint Martin, Toulouse site. You will join the Airborne Product &amp; Services Security Tests in charge of the security evaluation of Airbus end products such as avionics computers in commercial aircrafts, inside the Flight and Integration Test Centre of Airbus France in Toulouse. We proceed both by analysis and by pentests. Our department works in tandem with avionics System Designers as well as the department of aircraft Security Architects. This apprenticeship will start in September 2025 and will last for 2 years. This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognised authorities. Tasks and responsibilities You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills. You will contribute to the following main activities: <ul><li>Risk Analysis of ML-based computer vision, threat analysis</li><li>Identification of threat paths; inference attacks, supply-chain attacks (e.g. cloud infrastructure used during ML training), training attacks / data poisoning</li><li>Pentest of the training dataset itself (including acquisition of datasets from external providers), pentest of the training computing infrastructure (access control, data integrity), pentest of the embedded ML avionics computer (through its ML inputs or through its ML-acceleration hardware and software stacks, that are complex Commercial-off-the-Shelf components)</li><li>Standardization, notably ARP6983</li><li>Upskilling on classical security evaluation</li></ul>Key deliverables <ul><li>Mapping of attacks from new publications to Vision-based Landing and other upcoming ML-based avionics</li><li>Prototype implementation of at least 1 attack on Vision-based Landing: <ul><li>either successful attack, and proposal for architectural remediation</li><li>or analysis of why ML design or functional verification were able to thwart the attack</li></ul></li><li>Proposal to Airbus System Designers and Security Architects Security of a template of verification&amp;validation objectives for embedded ML-based avionics</li><li>Vulnerability analysis of ML acceleration hardware and accompanying software frameworks</li></ul>Skills &amp; prerequisites You have completed your Bachelor: Cybersecurity analyst in the aeronautical sector (Bac +3) with the Airbus Cybersecurity School. Job Description: Airbus Blagnac is looking for a Synthetic Flight Instructor (NON FLYING POSITION) to join the Airbus Training Centre. You will Instruct airline crews converting to Airbus on all operational and technical aspects for a specific type (or types) using: <ul><li>Fixed Base Simulators,</li><li>Classroom,</li><li>Airbus Pilots Training Devices</li><li>Full Flight Simulators</li></ul>You will give stand-up lectures in order to insure airline crews capability to carry out safely and correctly all normal and emergency procedures required by Airworthiness authorities so that the crew will achieve the required level of standard proficiency. You will adhere to Airbus standard policy and standardization as required by Airbus Flight Training Operations. You will instruct the crews within the defined time limits. You will evaluate the crews' progression. You will decide, need be, on the necessity to give any extra session to achieve the level of proficiency. Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI)

Job Description: The Airbus Type Rating Instructor / Examiner (TRI/TRE) will belong to the Airbus Europe Training Centre (AETC) / Training department based in Blagnac (Toulouse) - Europe, and will conduct flight training and simulator training for various international customers. Commuting is not possible. Within this scope the (TRI/TRE) will represent Airbus in front of the operators, and in front of the Authorities. The Airbus TRI-TRE will work with different teams across the world and will have opportunities to develop her/his expertise in various fields and roles, including management / project positions. PREREQUISITES • Hold an EASA ATPL Licence • Hold a Valid EASA TRI on A320+A330/A350 LIFUS • Hold a Valid EASA Medical Class 1 • Hold a minimum English Language Proficiency Rating of 4 Fluent in English • Hold a Low visibility Operations qualification (at least 1 Autoland on Airbus Fly By Wire (FBW) aircraft as Captain) • Hold or have held an ETOPS qualification • Flight hours experience required: • A minimum of 5 000 hours as Pilot • A minimum of 2 000 hours on Jet Large aircraft • A minimum of 2 500 hours as Captain on Airbus Aircraft • A minimum of 500 hours instructor experience in FFS on large aircraft, • A minimum of 500hrs experience as Captain assigned to conduct LIFUS/IOE. • A significant part of the obtained instructor experience have to be initial type rating oriented • Qualify (current) and experienced as Captain and TRI on A320 + A330 / A350 • TRE experience is a plus • Significant Commercial Airline Experience • Evidence base training / Competences Base Training Assessment expertise is required • Project management minded • Managerial experience is a plus • Experience in Flight Safety is a plus Accountabilities • The TRI/TRE reports directly to the Head of TRI/TRE, in the Flight Crew Training organisation in Airbus Training Center Europe (ATC EU). • Belongs to the execution department. Base • The contract is based in Blagnac (nearby Toulouse). • Commuting is not possible • 3 years in a row, must be done in the execution department.
