At Frazer-Nash we help organisations deliver innovative engineering and technical solutions to make lives safe, secure, sustainable, and affordable. Our people are integral to delivering these outcomes.

With this in mind, we are currently seeking experienced Aerospace Assurance and Certification Consultants to undertake challenging and interesting work that improves safety and sustainability worldwide.

Working within a consultancy environment offers the chance to experience a wide variety of projects and you'll be expected to bid for, win, work on, and manage projects, as well as work with and manage people and clients. We are particularly interested in motivated consultants who are keen to network with clients to win new work and lead the delivery of projects supported by the wider team of engineers.

Our clients look for support in initial certification and type airworthiness, continuing airworthiness and technical delivery of projects. This would suit an engineer/consultant with previous experience working within Defence Equipment & Support, Project Teams, Delivery Teams or Front-Line delivery of platforms or equipment. The role represents an opportunity to join an expanding team and lead technical delivery on projects across the aerospace spectrum within defence. You will develop a portfolio of project deliveries, hone your consultancy skills and help develop more junior engineers and graduates. As part of Frazer-Nash you may also have opportunities to work outside aerospace or gain civil experience to widen your skillset further.

Although primarily focused on safety and assurance, we also have projects running that cover legislative and regulatory compliance, aviation facility design, risk and quality management across Defence (Air, Sea and Land) and transport and infrastructure, with aspirations to extend into the space domain.

  • Is Qualified to Chartered Engineer level or working towards it

  • Certification requirements and compliance;
  • Requirements management;
  • Safety and assurance;
  • Test and acceptance.
  • Shows a clear customer-focused attitude
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the different air safety aspects of an air systems life cycle.

  • Holds a first degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience working within a Delivery Team or Defence Equipment & Support
  • Frontline Engineering Experience on a Squadron or similar
  • Auditor experience

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
