Air Traffic Control Trainee

The British Virgin Islands Airports Authority is desirous of filling the vacant post of Air Traffic

Control Trainee and invites suitably qualified employees to apply. (Applicants must be at least

twenty (20) years of age)

The successful candidate must possess: -

• High School Diploma
• Five (5) CSEC or GCE O'Level subjects, Grades I, II and III which must include English Language and Mathematics. (Preference would be given to those applicants who were successful at CSEC Geography and have CAPE or GCE A' Level qualifications or higher)

The successful applicant must also possess the following skills: -

• Sound planning and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Ability to resolve service-related problems.
• Quality customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Computer Operating Systems (Microsoft office).
