Optime Group are proud to be recruiting Aircraft Cleaners for a prestigious client at Newcastle Airport. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company offering excellent conditions and facilities.

Below are the shifts that will be available on the App, you must be able to work 2 shifts per week and able to work PM shifts. This is not a full-time role. The Airport operates 247 therefore shifts will be Monday- Sunday. Weekends and bank holiday work will be expected.

Start Date:
- 28th May 2026
- Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour
- Working Hours: 23:00 pm to 07:00 am (You must be flexible with the hours you work)
- Shift pattern: You must pick up a minimum of 2 shifts per week, shifts will be released on a weekly basis (Shift timing examples below)
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Temp to Perm (performance-related).
- Cleaning of all areas of various sizes of aeroplanes making sure they are ready for their next journeys.
- Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables.
- Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment and surfaces.
- Cleaning aircraft kitchen areas (galleys) and washrooms.
- Removing rubbish and making sure that it is properly disposed.
- Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Security checking of the aircraft and reporting any findings as per your training.

- 23:00 pm to 07:00 am
- Has lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years or more, as all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC).
- Valid Passport
- This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (8 hours).
- UK Settled Status (If applicable).
- Proof of National Insurance.
- Proof of (current) Address.
- 5 Year Address History.
- 5 Year Work Reference History.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check and CTC following interview in line with CAA requirements.
