We design and fabricate custom solutions to explore the boundaries of science or solve complex problems not yet delivered by industry using a variety of payloads.

Objectives of this Role:
- Coordinate and manage mid-size to large spacecraft programs.
- Develop proposals for full scale spacecraft and/or missions.
- Deliver cutting edge spacecraft in a timely, coordinated, and efficient manner.
- Support R&D and promotional efforts to develop and implement new technologies.
- Coordinate with systems engineer, subsystem leads, management, and clients to organize, design, assemble, integrate, test, and launch spacecraft.
- Use institute and government systems and processes to coordinate build of spacecraft.
- Develop solutions for complex problems to preserve schedule and mitigate technical risk.
- Develop technical reports for mission status and present at internal and external reviews.
- Responsible for cost and scheduled performance.
- Requires a Bachelors or a Masters degree in Space Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Astronautical Engineering.
- PMP preferred.
- 5+ years: Functional and/or program management experience, preferably on space programs.
- Demonstrated capability to successfully promote and lead a technical program including projects of significant scope and complexity.
- Proven organizational, management, communications, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of NASA and/or DOD program management standards preferred.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
