As the Lead of the Inflight Services & Satellite Commercial Hub (m/f/d), you will be responsible for three business areas:
- Inflight Services: Driving growth by providing cutting-edge inflight connectivity (IFC) solutions for the airline industry
- EAN: P&L responsibility (Network-as-a-service) for the ground infrastructure of the European Aviation Network
- Satellite Commercial Hub: Grow awareness in DT group for satellite-supported business and consumer propositions and negotiate key contracts in alignment with DT's satellite strategy
- Shaping the strategic direction and operational design of the division as a member of the International Connectivity & Digital Wholesale Solutions management team
- Accelerating the growth of Deutsche Telekom's Satellite and Aviation connectivity business
- Building and maintaining strong networks with external partners and customers in the Satcom and Aviation industries, as well as collaborate closely with internal units such as Group Technology (GT/VTI), Telekom Deutschland Technik (TDT), IoT, Group Strategy, B2B Germany and B2B Europe, PRA, and national subsidiaries
- Define and execute strategies for developing the key partners and customers, overseeing their integration and growth
- The preparation of strategic decision-making materials and the presentation of their findings to senior management
- Leading the strategy and financial planning processes for both the Satellite Commercial Hub and Inflight Services, holding full P&L responsibility for the division (EAN, Inflight Services)
- Identifying new business development, innovation, and growth opportunities, and manage their successful implementation
- Developing sales and account strategies for Inflight Service's top accounts and nurture strategic customer relationships
- Lea
- A degree in economics, technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional training and specialization. Alternatively, several years of experience in Sales, Product Management, or Strategy/Business Development
- A proven track record of leading virtual teams and strategic projects, including cross-functional collaboration, ideally within an international context
- Deep knowledge of the technological, regulatory, and market frameworks governing the satellite communications and / or Inflight Connectivity space
- An entrepreneurial mindset: You can think and act like an entrepreneur - beyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone with a spirit of innovation and the ability to identify new markets or business opportunities
- Leadership skills: Experience in leading teams with a self-understanding as a coach and mentor. The ability to recognize and nurture individual strengths, as well as to create a positive and supportive working environment
- Experience negotiating and closing significant contracts-preferably with satellite connectivity providers, hyperscalers, airlines, or major technology companies
- Outstanding written and spoken English skills are essential, as all negotiations and key communications are conducted in English. Business fluency in German also a bonus
- High flexibility, proactivity, customer focus, and solution orientation, complemented by excellent networking skills across organizational boundaries

- Resilience in the face of challenges, consistently finding and implementing constructive, objective solutions in difficult situations
