As one of the fastest-growing Colleges in the UK, Weston College is excited to be opening the brand-new Aerospace Skills Academy, which will welcome its first learners in September 2026. The Academy will be a cutting-edge training hub, designed to power the next generation of aerospace and advanced engineering professionals.
We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join the team at the Aerospace Skills Academy, located in Filton, Bristol.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
You will work a variety of shifts, between the hours of 7.30am and 9.30pm, with occasional working until 10.00pm required.
Due to the shift work nature of this role, you will receive a shift allowance of £1,000 per annum.
This role involves a high level of physical activity, and some working outdoors.

Day to day duties
- To be a focal point and point of call for customer (student) support.
- To support the safety and security of the College premises, vehicles and contents thereof.
- As instructed, to ensure that the premises are properly maintained, and all lighting and heating systems and equipment are functioning. To undertake minor repairs and decorations as requested.
- To report any Health and Safety hazards or maintenance/minor works to the Line Manager.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Full driving licence is required as you may be required to travel between campuses.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
