Job Description
As a Mechanical Integration and Assembly Technician you will join our Portsmouth team to support our activities within the Spacesector.
You will be responsible for the mechanical integration and assembly of aerospace systems, supporting AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) activities. The role is on-site full-time, across AM/PM shifts, and is suitable for junior technicians who are competent and eager to develop their skills.

Job Description
As a Mechanical Integration and Assembly Technician you will join our Portsmouth team to support our activities within the Spacesector.
You will be responsible for the mechanical integration and assembly of aerospace systems, supporting AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) activities. The role is on-site full-time, across AM/PM shifts, and is suitable for junior technicians who are competent and eager to develop their skills.

- Clearance: Clearable
- Experience Level: Mid-level
- Perform mechanical integration and assembly of aerospace systems
- Support AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) activities
- Follow engineering drawings, manuals, and technical instructions accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure components are installed correctly
- Report and document assembly progress and any technical issues
Required Skills:
- Competent in mechanical assembly and integration techniques
- Ability to follow technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Willingness to work across AM/PM shifts on-site full time
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical integration or assembly, ideally within aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with AIT processes and aerospace standards
- Experience in component installation, jigs, or tooling
- Knowledge of inspection and quality procedures
