We are preparing for an exciting phase of growth in one of the world's most unique operating environments. This upcoming work marks a significant step forward in providing vital industry Search and Rescue activity supporting Offshore Energy Services operations in the Falkland Islands.
As we move into this next phase, we invite applications for the positions of Offshore Search and Rescue Commander and Co-Pilot based at Falkland Islands (Stanley).

As we move into this next phase, we invite applications for the positions of Offshore Search and Rescue Commander and Co-Pilot based at Falkland Islands (Stanley).
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant United Kingdom air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures.
- Maintaining familiarity and adherence to such provisions of the Company Operations Manual as are necessary to fulfil the function.
- Observation, maintenance and compliance of Company SOP's
- Monitoring the pilot handling, aircraft limitations, aircraft performance, fuel checks, navigation, terrain clearance and overall safe conduct of the flight.
- Maintaining a high personal standard of discipline, conduct and appearance as a representative of the Company.
- Leading by active example, in the development and maintenance of high standards of professional expertise, discipline and morale.
- Possess a valid CAA ATPL(H) or CPL(H) and valid IR
- Valid S92 Type Rating (Preferred)
- UK CAA Class 1 Medical
- 2500 hours total time on aircraft
- 1000 hours on multi-engine helicopters
- Previous SAR Command with a minimum of 500 hours on helicopters in the UK SAR role*
- NVIS experience (Essential)
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements to hold a Falkland Islands work permit
Requirements for Co Pilot:
- Possess a valid CAA ATPL(H) or CPL(H) and valid IR
- Valid S92 Type Rating (Preferred)
- UK CAA Class 1 Medical
- 750 hours total time on helicopters
- NVIS experience
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements to hold a Falkland Islands work permit
- 42 days on / 42 days off roster
- Location allowance provided
- Roles are based in the Falkland Islands (Stanley)
- Travel and Accommodation provided
