WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work as a member of an air tanker team operating in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
• Support national firefighting efforts during deployments to jurisdictions around Canada.
• Participate in aerial application projects, as applicable.

• Pilots work in a team environment that can involve extended periods of daily fire standby, long operational days and deployments depending on wildfire conditions.

WHAT YOU BRING

REQUIREMENTS

• A valid Commercial Pilot License - Fixed Wing
• Recent flying experience within the previous 12 months
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
• A valid driver's license
• A valid passport
• The ability to communicate clearly in English
• The ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check
• Low-level operational experience (fire suppression, Ag, survey) is an asset

QUALIFICATIONS

AT-802 - Fire Boss

• 2,500 hours PIC
• 1,000 hours turbine
• 200 hours in an Air Tractor or similar turbine-powered agricultural-style aircraft, or 500 hours float experience
• Amphibious experience is an asset
• Valid IFR is an asset

AT-802 - Wheeled

• 1,500 hours PIC
• 300 hours tailwheel
• Air Tractor or similar turbine-powered agricultural aircraft experience is an asset
• Valid IFR is an asset

Cessna C208 - Bird Dog

• 2,000 hours PIC
• 1,000 hours turbine
• Valid IFR
• Experience in a Cessna C208 or aircraft equipped with Garmin G1000 NXi is preferred
