On a daily basis, NPAS help save lives, tackle criminality and keep people and communities safe. Flying to more than 20,000 tasks every year, crews provide effective aerial support to ground based officers and in doing so improve operational response to incidents within the highest safety standards. Working alongside Tactical Flight Officers, NPAS Pilots have the opportunity to make good use of their skills and experience on a variety of police missions including fast-paced, dynamic tasks such as: • pursuit of stolen vehicles • searching for missing persons/suspects • support for firearms incidents Pilots also fly to pre-planned tasks. This can include support for large public events such as the London Marathon, Heads of State visits and large demonstrations. On occasion, pilots are called upon to land so the crew can assist people in distress. Multi Engine Turbine (MET) B200/350 Pilot FT Permanent (Days and Nights) Flexi based (Humberside/Prestwick/Newquay) Our Special Missions division delivers specialist aviation services to the UK Government and industry customers. We deliver a next-generation Search and Rescue contract which operates 24/7/365. Working with a First Officer and Sensor Operator, who manages the sensors and mission equipment, duties include delivering specialist surveillance tasks within the UK and internationally. The role includes operating our Special Missions surveillance 350/B200 aircraft as a single and/or multi-pilot captain, with all line training provided. Whilst the role will have a degree of predictability from the roster, the applicant will also be required to fill in for short-notice sickness when required, within the bounds of the FTL system. Depending on experience, captains will initially be flying the 350 multi-pilot and if suitable becoming dual rated on to the B200 as single pilot when required. Working a rotation of day and night shifts, each crew will also have a Sensor Operator on board, who manages the sensors and mission equipment. Trials Pilot

Responsibilities OBXtek is staffing positions which are contingent upon award for a Contract Instructor Pilot/CI on the CV-22 MDS for the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) 492 Special Operation Wing (SOW) and operational units. Instructors will provide instruction, in accordance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and Air Force Instructions (AFI) to meet United States Air Force (USAF) proficiency and qualification standards on Air Force administered written examinations and flight evaluations for preparatory courses, initial qualification (basic, instrument, mission), transition (conversion, requalification), upgrade qualification (instructor, aircraft commander, special mission, evaluator, dual qualification of sensor operators), and key staff, continuation, refresher course, etc. training as required to meet the on-time graduation and annual student throughout requirements of this contract. Other requirements include: <ul><li>Ensure syllabi tasks are 100% complete within the time specified for the lesson. </li><li>Ensure completion of Aircrew Graduate Evaluation Program (AGEP) in accordance with applicable Air Force Instructions and training syllabi. </li><li>Use air traffic control services and radio calls during instruction that are in accordance with the most current edition of the Federal Aviation Administration Order 7110.65, Air Traffic Control, or applicable International Civil Aviation Organization manuals and circulars for overseas continental United States (OCONUS) locations.</li><li>Support instruction of the AFSOC Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) with qualified IRC instructors.</li><li>Support instruction of the Crew Resource Management Course (CRM) and CRM Facilitators Course with qualified CRM instructors.</li><li>Support instruction of the Night Vision Devices with qualified aircrew instructors. </li><li>Support instruction of aircraft radios, datalinks and other cryptographic radio devices as assigned, with qualified aircrew instructors in assigned training devices. </li><li>Support the Critique Program with suggested changes/mitigation(s) as required.</li></ul>In addition, the CV-22 personnel will conduct continuation training events for local operation units, both ground training and simulator.
