Are you ready to push the boundaries of science and engineering? The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Quantum Technology Engineering at the University of Southampton offers a unique opportunity to pursue cutting-edge research while gaining skills the Quantum Technology industry demands.

As part of the UKRI TechExpert pilot, we provide fully funded 4-year studentships with annual tax-free stipends of up to £31,800 for eligible candidates. This is your chance to combine world-class research with practical training and industry experience.

What We Offer

Tax-free stipend: £21,805 per year plus an additional £10,000 for home-fee eligible students.

Full UK tuition fees, fully funded 4-year studentships (UK and Horizon Europe students)

Research Training & Support Grant for conferences and study visits.

• Access to state-of-the-art facilities, including our Nanofabrication Centre.

Who Can Apply?

• UK and international candidates with a relevant Honours or Master’s degree (2:1/Merit or above) or equivalent experience.

• English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 92.
