We are looking for a Space Solution Architect to support research, design and prototyping of advanced integrated systems.

The role focuses on end-to-end architectures spanning ground segment, edge computing (on-board satellite capabilities), satellite communications and navigation technologies.

Activities:

• Manage the development of digital system architectures
• Design, model and prototype next-generation space solutions, including ground segment services, edge/on-board satellite capabilities, communication and navigation
• Support analysis tools for assessing system performance and service integrity
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through design, development and integration activities
• Support the preparation of technical proposals within R&D programs (e.g. ESA, EUSPA, NAVISP, EDA)
• Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies and ensure smooth deployment of system components
• Monitor emerging technologies in communications, navigation, cloud/edge for potential adoption

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer / Electronic Engineering or related disciplines
• +5 years of experience in system engineering roles within Space, Defense or related industries
• Background in at least one of the following: satellite communications, ground segment design, navigation technologies or edge architectures
• Solid knowledge in systems engineering, MBSE methodologies and familiarity with ECSS standards
• Experience in system/solution architecture, cloud platforms (Docker - Kubernetes), distributed systems and cybersecurity best practices
• Excellent analytical and communication skills and strong teamwork attitude
• Proficiency in English
