The Organizational Unit (around 20 people) deals with Mission Analysis, Flight Dynamics infrastructures design, implementation and operations, and Flight Dynamics expertise provision to all the Company departments. Moreover, it provides the Flight Dynamics operation for the entire fleet of GEO and LEO spacecrafts and constellations for both commercial and institutional customers and agencies.

Requires
- BS or Master's (preferred) degree in mathematics, physics, aerospace or a relevant engineering discipline
- 10+ years' experience in Flight Dynamics activities
- Solid competence in astrodynamics disciplines and proven experience of their application to space mission operations
- Previous involvement in LEOP activities and experience with both LEO and GEO satellites
- In-depth knowledge of Design & Use of Flight Dynamics Tools, Analysis and Reporting
- Leadership, relationship management and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Cognitive, analytical, delegation, planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to anticipate problems, solve complex issues and relate situations to their context.
- Developing and evolving staff competences to meet current and future needs
- Eligibility to get relevant security clearances for National Programs
- Lead the Flight Dynamics Team to provide and manage the required operational Flight Dynamics support to LEOP and Routine Operations.
- Ensure the Flight Dynamics System Design from the requirement derivation and definition to be used for operations from LEOP to graveyarding, guaranteeing Maneuvers Optimization in terms of positioning, Collision Avoidance and Fuel Budget.
- Deliver operational services within schedule and budget, according to standard Company procedures and policies.
- Ensure that all flight dynamics daily operations including optimal spacecraft maneuver planning, orbit determination & orbital events prediction are carried out effectively and efficiently accordingly to the Space Mission department's standard operational policies, processes, procedures and controls.
- Manage and report all Flight Dynamics analyses necessary to ensure the health and safety of the satellite fleet until deorbiting completion, to include close approach analysis, anomalies analysis, remaining propellant computations and Lifetime predictions.
- Manage the design and the evolution of Flight Dynamics software necessary for the Flight Dynamics Operations carried out both internally and externally to the Company.
- Provide Flight Dynamics expertise on a consultancy basis to the other Technical Teams, when required.
- Support the ILS and OPS team for what concerns the training on Flight Dynamics subjects.
- Manage the accurate preparation of the LEOP mission by reviewing and analyses of the manufacturers' and customer's documentation.
