We want you as a talented and experienced Flight Software Engineer to help us in our mission by acting as system engineer for Future Projects that prepare the future growth of the Nyx vehicles family and new products. You will be part of the In-Orbit Services team within the Future Systems Department, reporting to the Principal Engineer of the project and working closely with the other engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities In your capacity as In-Orbit Services Flight Software Engineer, your role will continuously evolve, but initially your day-to-day duties will include: <ul><li>Take ownership of work packages or full future projects related to Flight Software: <ul><li>Define functional breakdowns, high level requirements and their associated flow-down and manage / maintain the technical baselines to ensure that the design answers the needs of the respective project</li><li>Manage interfaces and requirements towards Avionics and other hardware sections</li><li>Provide software architectures and conceptual designs, perform technical trade-offs, budget and performance calculations</li><li>Develop elements of low-level software (operating systems, system drivers, communication protocols etc) and high-level software (applications, control algorithms etc)</li><li>Provide development logic, implementation, verification and validation plans</li></ul></li><li>Ensure the delivery on time, on quality and on cost of the work packages in your responsibility</li><li>In coordination with the Bid Manager, elaborate the technical and programmatic parts for Flight Software related work packages to submit winning proposals for new future projects</li></ul>What we would love to see from you <ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, five years of professional work in a related area.</li><li>Proven experience in developing software architectures for aerospace or similar complex systems.</li><li>Proven experience in real-time distributed system design, implementation, and debugging, with a focus on timing constraints, synchronization, and deterministic behaviour in safety-critical applications.</li><li>Strong background in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink.</li><li>Familiarity with hardware in the loop (HIL) and software in the loop (SIL) testing methodologies.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences</li></ul>Why you should join us! Embedded Software Engineer - Aerospace

We are looking for a Spacecraft Software Engineer (GNSS) to join our team working at the intersection of satellite payloads, scientific computing, and data delivery systems. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining both the flight and ground software that powers our satellite-based GNSS missions. You'll work across system layers-from embedded software to cloud data pipelines-to help ensure the accurate and timely delivery of mission-critical scientific data to our customers. Job Description As a Lead Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software within the Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) team. Primarily deployed to rotorcraft, our software products run on a Linux base to process data acquired from sensors placed across the vehicle's drivetrain in order to inform the users and operators of drivetrain health, guiding maintenance and deployment decisions at the aircraft level. In this role, we are seeking methodical engineers with a strong background in optimising systems utilising embedded C++ coding, with a particular focus on either real time processing of vibration signals and/or control of acquisition, processing, storage, access and graphing of vibration data for purposes of IVHM.
