Take your career to cruising altitude as an Airline Relationship Manager, where you'll lead strategic engagement with Heathrow's airline customers, and the AOC. In this dynamic role, you'll build and manage high-impact relationships, drive behavioural change through a targeted Key Account Management approach, and guide stakeholders through operational changes. You'll be the connector coordinating end-to-end airline requirements, simplifying communications, and ensuring seamless integration of operational change across business units. you'll be at the forefront of delivering excellence for passengers and partners alike. Responsibilities

  • Engage with airlines in performance discussions, using data and dashboards to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Build and manage relationships at all levels, aligning airline needs with Heathrow's operational priorities.
  • Represent senior managers at key customer engagement sessions, acting as an ambassador for Heathrow and reporting back on issues, concerns, and feedback.
  • Prepare agendas, briefings, and minutes for airline engagement meetings, ensuring actions are clearly recorded and tracked.
  • Collaborate with the Heathrow Operational Readiness Team to deliver business change, including airline moves, new entrants, schedule changes, and automation.
  • Work closely with Aviation, Operational Readiness, and Operations Planning teams to ensure joined-up delivery and communication.
Qualifications

  • Proven account management experience with the ability to build strategic partnerships, influence stakeholders, and deliver value through a collaborative approach.
  • Strong understanding of the aviation industry and airline operations, with the ability to balance customer requirements with Heathrow's operational and commercial objectives.
  • Confident in leading meetings, delivering impactful presentations, and driving clear actions and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Our team are responsible for managing relationships with our partners, and coordinating day-to-day operational activities, including the Airport Operating Centre (APOC) operational plan.
