As a Pilot with Omni, you will take command of the skies, operating under Omni's Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) with professionalism, precision, and a commitment to excellence. You will uphold the highest aviation standards by maintaining all required licences, medicals, and regulatory approvals, while ensuring compliance with CASA and company requirements. Working closely with the Chief Pilot, you will support operational standards, safety systems, and ongoing updates to the Operations Manual. You'll play an active role in driving continuous improvement, contributing to a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and safety. Key Accountabilities
- Oversee flight planning to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Implement systems and processes that meet local aviation authority and CASA regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures for pilot, crew, and Air Rider management.
- Maintain strong oversight of aviation safety standards, crew training, licensing, certification, and company-specific qualification requirements.
- Develop and manage procedures for the safe carriage of Participating Member's Air Riders.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to pilots and crew, fostering a professional and safety-focused culture.
- Manage crew scheduling, rostering, and performance oversight.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align aviation activities with mission objectives, surveillance requirements, and operational risk management.

Essential Requirements
The below key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all employees to Omni.
- Be an Australian Citizen
- Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one
- Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
- CASA Commercial Pilot Licence - CPL(A) or Airline Transport Pilot's Licence - ATPL(A) with the following minimum experience:
- 2000 hours total time as Pilot in Command of a fixed wing aircraft,
- 500 hours as a Pilot in Command of a fixed wing turbine powered or Multi Engine fixed wing aircraft
- 50 hours on either B350 and/or PC12 aircraft.
- CASA Class 1 medical
- Valid instrument proficiency check (IPC) - either single or multi-engine depending on aircraft type.
