The recruiting company:

Our client is a European start-up specializing in electronic warfare, secure communications, and precision localization technologies for the defense sector.

Key points of the position:

Reporting to the engineering team, you will design and develop the electronic hardware that powers advanced defense systems, from initial architecture to fully validated PCB assemblies.

As a Hardware Engineer, your missions will include:

  • Designing complex multi-layer PCBs including mixed-signal, high-speed digital, and analog circuits,
  • Routing critical interfaces for embedded processors, sensors, and communication modules within space-constrained systems,
  • Developing robust power management architectures including PMICs and DC/DC converters for battery-powered field equipment,
  • Managing technical interactions with PCB manufacturers and EMS partners from prototype development to serial production,
  • Selecting electronic components that meet strict operational, environmental, and reliability requirements while monitoring supply chain risks and component lifecycle,
  • Prototyping and performing board bring-up activities using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic loads,
  • Collaborating with RF, mechanical, and quality teams to ensure EMC/EMI compliance and optimize designs for manufacturing and testing (DFM/DFT).
