Space Solution Architect

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. You will be responsible for CNC machining and CAM programming of critical aerospace parts, including brackets, valve subcomponents, and composite structures. From 3D models, you'll generate toolpaths in HyperMill, prepare setups, and run machining operations on multi-brand 5-axis machining centers and CNC lathes. You will work on flight-grade materials such as Inconel, titanium, and composite blocks. A part of the position is also to program and operate the WEDM machine for additive manufacturing post-processing and when part geometries require it. English capacity for exchange with other teams is expected, as our work environment is international. This role requires strong expertise in RF and digital payload technologies, including active antennas, high-power RF chains, and on-board digital processors for flexible and efficient communication architectures. You will work closely with system engineers, suppliers, and project teams to ensure payload performance, schedule adherence, and compliance with quality and reliability requirements across GEO and LEO programs. In addition, you will act as the interface for payload units procurement and supplier performance, ensuring that the individual hardware units (i.e., amplifiers, filter banks, digital processors) meet mission-level quality, cost and schedule targets. As the Avionics lead , you will play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of modular and reusable spacecraft, such as Nyx. You will lead the Avionics team in overseeing spacecraft integration, verification and certification while driving innovation and ensuring project milestones are met on time and with the highest technical quality. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team capable of executing the full development lifecycle of avionics systems from concept through qualification and integration.</li><li>Define system requirements and architecture for avionics, communication, and power systems.
